Prehistoric Rock Art and Fracking on Friday's Access Utah

www.blm.gov

Today on the program producer's Sheri Quinn and Elaine Taylor explore Nine Mile Canyon, known as the world's longest prehistoric rock art gallery. Because of the boom in gas and oil exploration in the area, archeologists have been able to uncover ancient mysteries buried beneath the canyon's narrow corridors.

In the second half, Science Questions travels to two of the biggest hydro-fracking hubs in the US -- the Unitah Basin in Utah and northeastern Ohio, where two farmers on opposite sides of the country are facing the same dilemma -- how will the natural gas exploration bordering their land effect their property and the community.
