Personal Trainer Gains, Loses Weight on Access Utah Tuesday

Drew Manning Fit2Fat2Fit

We talk to Utah resident and personal trainer Drew Manning on Access Utah Tuesday for the hour. Manning has been a trainer for years, and has never been overweight; his idea of a treat was an extra glass of spinach shake. But he often failed to help his clients reach their goals. He decided he needed to better understand what it was like to be on the other side.

His audacious plan?  Gain 60 pounds in six months and then take the weight off in the following six months.  And that’s what he did; gaining 75 pounds and taking the weight off again all the while blogging to a growing community following his efforts. Drew Manning details how the experience affected him and his family, how he changed as a trainer and as a man, in his new book Fit2Fat2Fit: The Unexpected Lessons from Gaining and Losing 75 Pounds on Purpose.
