Fresh Folk- September 8

It’s an night of new releases in Celtic music this week, as I feature the new album from the band Bua, and the collection celebrating 50 years of the Chieftans. I’ll also play songs from new albums by Paddy O’Brien, Alistair Ogilvy, and West of Eden, to name just a few. Join me this Saturday at 8pm. 

There are some great concerts happening around the state, including: Pat Metheny at the State Room on September 9^th, Blues Traveler at the Utah State Fair on September 12^th, Henry Rollins at the State Room on Sept 16^th, James McMurtry at the State Room on September 22^nd, Ben Taylor at the State Room on September 24^th, Mindy Smith at the State Room on Sept 29^th, Aimee Mann at the State Room on Oct 6^th, Beth Orton at the State Room on Oct 13^rd, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals at the Depot on Oct 27^th, the Infamous Stringdusters at the State Room on Nov 8^th, and Rachel Yamagata at the State Room on Nov 23^rd.   In Logan, Cosy Sheridan performs at Crumb Brothers on September 15^th, the Beaver Mt Music Festival takes place at Beaver Mt on September 22^nd, and Justin Roth plays at Crumb Brothers on October 27^th.
