Fresh Folk- January 5

On the show this week, I feature the spacious harmonies of the Hard Road Trio, and the inspiring new tunes from Mumford and Sons. I’ll also play tracks from new albums by Marley’s Ghost, The Parlor Soldiers and Susan Toney, among other talented artists. In the new year, there some great concerts happening around the state, including: Shemekia Copeland at the Egyptian Theater in Park City on January 11^th and 12^th, a Singer-Songwriters in the Round show at the State Room on January 17^th, Judy Collins also at the Egyptian Theater on February 1^st and 2^nd, the amazing bass player Victor Wooten at the State Room on February 11^th, Eric Bibb at Weber State University on February 14^th, the amazing Hot Tuna at the State Room on February 16^th, Carrie Rodriguez at the State Room on February 19^th, the Infamous Stringdusters at Park City Live on February 20^th, Martin Sexton also at Park City Live on February 21^st, James McMurtry at the State Room on February 22^nd, and Mickey Hart at the Depot on February 26^th.  In Logan, Moors and McCumber do a show at Crumb Brothers Bakery on January 19^th, and the duo Small Potatoes plays at Crumb Brothers Bakery on February 16^th.
