Fresh Folk- January 11

Credit THE MONOCLE BAND

On the show this week, I feature the debut release from the roots-driven Colorado band, Monocle Band, and the latest album from the young and talented Newgrass prodigy, Sarah Jarosz. I’ll also play songs from new albums by Patty Griffin, The Wood Brothers, and Jaime Michaels, to name just a few. Join me this Saturday at 8pm for Fresh Folk on Utah Public Radio.

There are some great concerts happening around the state, and here’s a list of who’s playing when: Joshua James at the Urban Lounge on January 18th, Kasey Musgraves with Lady Antebellum at Energy Solutions Arena on January 24th, North Mississippi Allstars at the State Room on February 4th and 5th, Keller Williams at Park City Live on February 7th, Duncan Sheik at the Egyptian Theater on February 14th and 15th, the Infamous Stringdusters and the Deadly Gentleman at Park City Live on February 14th, and Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers at the State Room on February 25th.
